Hello All!
I am officially a blogger for the University of Tulsa College of Law! Obviously, some type of administrative error must have occurred for me to be selected, but I will write for as long as the mistake goes unnoticed. I am excited to share my insights and experiences with everyone and I hope you enjoy my postings.
Let me start by telling you a little bit about my story. I was born and raised by a wonderful family in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Purdue University in Indiana. While at Purdue, I received my degree from the College of Technology and obtained my pilot’s license. From there, I started my journey in the JD/MBA program at the University of Tulsa College of Law and I haven’t looked back!
TU was the right law school for me because of my interest in the energy industry (and because the campus seriously looks like a country club). Working in the energy industry has been a goal of mine because of the important role energy plays in today’s society. TU’s top notch energy law program combined with its top 50 business program makes it a hot spot for energy company recruiters. As a result, I was fortunate enough to obtain a 2013 summer internship with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s Land Division in Denver, CO (Yes, there is hope for everyone).
Overall, I have enjoyed my time at TU and would not change one thing. TU has a great student body, brilliant professors, sparkling apartment pools and most importantly: the Admissions Athenas! (That was for you ladies!) I encourage everyone to check out TU and experience the amazing things happening on campus.
Thanks for listening!
