Hello World.
The trust bestowed upon me to write a blog on behalf of the University of Tulsa College of Law is an honor. I have been given the power to publish my words on the internet for all to read, and I hope to bring joy and happiness to all. In Greek mythology, Pandora, opened a “box” that released evil into the world. I hope to accomplish the exact opposite. Through my blog I will release all the positive and uplifting aspects of law school. I do not see the need to dwell on negative experiences because those can be found in all of life’s endeavours. It is the positive experiences that make a journey worth traveling.
Let me begin with telling you a little about myself. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and was adopted when I was 3 months old. I spent the first 5 years of my life living in Oregon and California. My family moved to Oologah, OK the summer before I was scheduled to began the first grade. I consider Oologah my hometown, and it is located 30 minutes north of Tulsa. I attended Northeastern State Universtiy located in Tahlequah, OK, and recieved a degree in political science with a minor in paralegal sudies.
My law school journey began in the fall of 2010. The first year was a whirlwind of emotions, but it was over in a blink of the eye. The friendships I made during my first year of school will be lifelong. Every experience in law school holds some form of value but you have to be willing to look for it. The first year of law school is extremely demanding, but the feeling of walking out of school after your last final of your first year is indescribable.
I hope to share many more of my experiences from my first and second year of law school. I intend to share my current adevntures as well. Remember, Todd’s Blog is your one stop shop for law school and life advice!
To all of you who took the LSAT this past Saturday I hope all went well, and you are excited about applying to law school. I will try to share some of my experiences from my law school application process with you in the coming weeks. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
